Default Anyone else had problems with Horizon Wireless?

Please Login to Remove!

I ordered some torx screws from Horizon Wireless on the recommendation of John Clark (thread). Well, unfortunately, more than two weeks have passed since I ordered and no sign of screws. I have spoken to a person at Horizon, who while extremely nice, never seems to be able to send me the tracking number for my order.

Has anyone had problems like this with Horizon? I am getting very frustrated as this is a simple order - (10) Torx screws. I should have had these a long time ago and I am getting tired of waiting.

As with any vendor, when you run into problems you should try to get beyond the call desk. I would ask to speak to a supervisor to get straight answers.

I've forwarded your PM to him and I'm sure he'll be contacting you shortly.

I've never had any issue with stuff I've gotten from him.

Hi Guys,
Im Steven the owner of HorizonWireless. Thanks for the heads up and the good words. onyx00 is 100 percent right. Its was a problem on our end, and we are working on fixing everything with onyx00. I called Chris (onyx00) this afternoon and we talked, hes a good guy with a broken screw on his curve Our store was also burglarized early last week which did not help the situation with emails responses and what not. We were closed for three days. So again, thanks guys, and im sorry for the mix up.

Hey all, I did speak to Steve, who as always was very polite and eager to resolve this entire situation.

He called me immediately (in fact, as soon as John let him know about the issue), and said he would refund my money and then on Monday he would send out another set of screws and then get me the tracking information that same day. So it seems things are on the way to getting worked out and I appreciate the responsiveness once Steve was aware of this issue.

I will update this thread on Monday just so no one finds this thread later and thinks the issue never got fully resolved.

Thanks very much to John for helping get Steve and I in touch to take care of this!

Just waiting on the tracking number from Steven; I sent him a PM since that seems to be the best way to contact him.

I will try to drop him a line on Tuesday morning as well just to be thorough

I apologize for the late reply - been busy working on two Flight Management System projects and I haven't had any free time.

Steve shipped everything and I got it within one day. He refunded all of my money and gave me exactly what I had originally ordered at no charge. I am more than satisfied with the service.

I think people should take note of this situation. Steve basically went out of his way to make things right. To me this is one of the most important qualities of a business: when things go wrong, they do whatever it takes to make things right. This exactly describes Steve and the end result I had with Horizon.

In short, Horizon stepped up and resolved the issue quickly and effectively. I will definitely be doing business with them again. Furthermore, he seems to have parts I have been unable to find anywhere else: the torx screws for the 8320, the keypads, etc. These are things I haven't seen for sale, and it is good to know where to get them when I have problems.

He's a good guy. I'm not surprised it worked out so well for you.
