All of a sudden (last two days) my Curve battery (8320) has been draining in about 4 hours. I don't think the battery would have suddenly gone bad, would it? I mean I **NEVER* had battery issues previously, it always lasted the entire day with about 70% battery left. Now within a 24 hour time period, the battery seems to drain very fast (as I said 4 hrs or so).

I confirmed I have no applications running outside the norm by going to "Switch Application." I only see the browser, blackberry messenger, call log, mailbox, and home screen. But I don't think any of these would suddenly cause it. Any ideas? This is kind of a big problem; I'm not sure if I should just go buy a new battery or what. I've tried the hard-reset by removing the battery multiple times, but no difference.

This is odd. My BB Pearl has been draining fast since I returned from an extended U.S. Road trip two weeks ago. It is about 1 year old so I am not sure if the battery needs replacement or some other Rogers signal problems have occurred. I notice the EDGE signal has been weak these days.

Always, pull the battery first to kill any odd applications running in the background, and read the link above.

I had the same problem a couple weeks ago and created a thread about it. Just search for "battery drain?" If u want to go through it. I ended up going to t-mobile and getting my battery replaced no charge. No problems so far.
