If the person is really close, you probably can send it via Bluetooth. If not, then I guess MMS is your only choice.

Even if there were an application, the recipient would have to have it in their phone too. Can you count on that? Not likely.

That's why the Blackberry is so strong and why I laugh whenever people like Leo Laporte go around saying that e-mail is dead. E-mail is a standard, it's universal, you can depend on it and is still awfully useful. E-mail is all that and a bag of chips.
