lol @ the Q. I looked at the pearl but it just seemed dainty and like another phone with blackberry features. Plus the thing doesn't even have a full keyboard ... I could stay with another regular phone if I wanted to t9 or sure type whatever its called.

I have been using an 8130 for the past 3 months but am considering going back to my 8703. I still have not gotten comfortable with the suretype keyboard and I miss the larger screen. The camera and sd card are a nice feature but may not be enough to keep me using the 8130. Unfortunately Verizon released the Curve about 45 days after I got my Pearl.

8700r is still the one
8700r has been with me for a while now. Pearl was never an option as I would like to have a full keyboard.
Was very tempted to get the Curve for a while but the urge has passed as the extra features it has are great but not a must have for me and the smaller size is not really that important.
Wonder what Bold is going to bring to the table as it maybe the one to finally switch to.

My 8700 works great (ATT) but I have consolidated all of my business and personal phones on Verizon so I got the 8830 Worldphone.
What do I need to do to get the 8700 ready to sell? What are they worth?
Thanks in advance everyone!

Had a 8830 for a little over a year. Crapped out on me. Going back to the trusty 8703e. It's a tank compared to the 8830 but minor details when it comes to durability. I want something I can feel in my hands and although I will miss the trackball. Oh well.
In the past I've had the 7510 -> 7520 -> 8703e -> 8830 -> 8703e. Round robin.

I love my 8700e. I love the trackwheel on the side. I don't like that new fangled button below the screen on the new BBs. Feels strange.
Only thing I don't like about the 8700, is that it doesn't have a camera, and you can't send pics on your phone to messenger contacts.

My first BB was a pearl (personal)...upgraded to a curve about a year ago (again personal), and now work just gave us an 8700c this week (corporate). I don't mind the 8700, but I really wish it had a trackball. I am so used to the easy navigation with the curve and pearl now with the menu button and trackball and its cumbersome to use that side wheel...

My Pearl stopped functioning correctly after I dropped it so I am back to my 8703e. I am not eligible for an upgrade until 1/10/09. So I am back to the track wheel. After 2 days I am completely used to it again. I forgot how much better the 8700 qwerty keyboard is compared to the suretype Pearl. I was never comfortable using it.

I finally yielded to temptation several months ago. But gave my 8700g to a buddy on long term loan and he's using it. What a device!
