Please Login to Remove!

It's just easier to have an OTA that way I can just forward the link to all my coworkers.

Thanks again.

Save the file, open DM, load the changes and there they are.
I can not seem to locate the vendor number for Rogers. Do you happen to know it or know where I can find it?

Thanks.

How 'bout some love to us Mac users? Is there a OTA or link to a location to download the unlocked theme's file? (If not OTA) then Bluetooth it, or email it to the Pearl to install them?

T-Mobile Zen (blue default one)
Vodafone Today

and... guess what... functionality and quickness-wise the default T-Mobile Zen is the best one of them all haha.... so if you are looking for something different I suggest just sticking with that one and adding your own background image...

EDIT : for all you girls out there or guys who have girls with the Pearl unlock the white T-Mobile Zen cause it is pink colored highlights and menus colors yet the same as the default blue one we all have... it will get you a few bonus points from her!

2. Installation Path: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\8100-v4.2.0.42_P2.2.0.28
or this Installation Path either
ok added pic of what I get when I open Research In Motion
Attached Files
File Type: doc BB Pic.doc (89.0 KB, 171 views)

You only need your own to unlock all of the themes. Hold down ALT and type RACE to see some device info including your vendor code.

Really? From your home screen you are holding down the ALT key and typing RACE? Mine pops up Vendor ID, App Version, PIN, IMEI, Uptime, Signal Strength and Battery Level. Give it another shot.

If you are on TMobile US, I can tell you that your vendor code is 100, otherwise I don't know.

Good luck!

Would love to add the additional themes ... BUT - when I went from 4.2.0.42 to 4.2.0.64 to get the 2GB microSD fix ... it blew away my BES set-up?

Is that normal? Anyone using a corporate BES able to do this update through the Desktop Manager "without" affecting their BES set-up???

Thanks;

For ALL of the available vendor IDs, open up the Vendor.xml file and then open up Calculator in Windows. For each of the carrier names, you'll see a corresponding hexidecimal code. Change the view in Calculator to Scientific (View > Scientific) and change it from Dec to Hex. Type in the hex code then click back on Dec to convert it (or I'm sure you can find an online Hex to Dec converter). Anyhow, an example would be 0x64 for T-Mobile; this converted is 100.

For the short list of theme-related vendor IDs, open up BlackBerry.alx and find the numbered theme files (120, for example); scroll up to just above the first entry for that particular vendor ID and you'll see who it belongs to (<!-- Vodafone Theme Sets --> or something like that).

Also, I put them up a long, long time ago.

No, it wipes everything clean. You should be able to reactivate through Desktop Manager.
