well .337 is a very solid OS but .246 is solid too! unless your having problems with .246 I would probably save my time and just wait.

Hmm, why would you say that, after you said this before:

My 3G signal improved, that's a big plus for me!(very happy about that)

314MB free memory.
The large majority of users, including John Clark and even including you previously, seem to think that .337 is enough of an improvement in several areas to be worth the install. I agree, very happy with my upgrade from .246 to .337.

My phone came with .246 as did the other three Canadian carriers at launch on September 30 here in Canada. It was pretty solid - no real issues. I skipped the next "official" OS as it seemed to have significant issues. I went with .337 soon after it came out and it has been very solid.
The "dancing" or moving icon issues on reboot which I experienced with .246 and .337 initially, seems to have self corrected on .337. I haven't had that issue for weeks.
Battery life seems better on .337 as compared to .246.
Occasionally the touch screen seems less responsive, though. That is my only negative.
I would recommend upgrading from .246 to .337. I am on BES and it went very smoothly. Got reactivated on BES account after reloading the OS without issue.

Need a new update to fix issues with WiFi connections dropping, invisible text when typing, etc. Why so slow?

I have had no problems with the Torch, even updating has been very smooth. I would say that as a whole the update works very well. I would supose that I really don't know the difference between what the other versions did besides work. Thanks for all the info on where the updates are available.

I love .337 but it caused issue to my bbm group. I wasn't able to see the current chat room even after I got reinvited and even after the battery pulled. Now, I am back to .246

The first post says "any" carrier's 9800. So, yes, you can install it.
