Anyone ever loose the homecreen icons and ability to scroll after the device has been charging overnight...pulling the battery returns the device to normal, also when typing a message with virtual keyboard on this forum you cant see the letters from the blue shade over what your typing...

If Desktop Manager is taking the device ID, you can't do much about it I would think. T-Mobile SIM in an AT&T phone just means it's unlocked and can be used with any carrier, but that ID still gives it a "home" to where it technically belongs.
Yeah, well, who is the xxxxxing idiot now. There was a simple fix.

Hello guys. This is my first post and please pardon my ignorance if a similar question has already been answered but I wasn't able to find it via search.
As it is my first post , it is also my first Blackberry - a gift from a friend.
It is an unlocked BB 9800 from O2 Uk which I plan to use in Orange network , Romania. Reading through this thread I have noticed several users reported a battery live improvement with this latest os. Is it safe for me to upgrade my device with it? Or will I need some other software package? I believe my Torch has atm the .246 version.

Thank you.

I have the invisible text problem as well from time to time. It's been around in all OS releases I used to date on my Torch. No issues with inability to scroll that you are describing however.

missing the scrolling screen and no icons I have only noticed on OS .337 everything back to normal after battery pull, somewhat of an inconvenience to say the least, never noticed this on .246

John Clark has been around for ever with more posts than 99% of Blackberry.com members. I frankly would be afraid to give him advise, let alone suggest something underhanded.
Rogers was rumored to be implementing a charge for tethering back in May, but has not yet to my knowledge. Although I see a line in my statement listing tethering as a service - at no charge. This line was added some time this year, so maybe they are testing the water to see if they can charge for this.

Back to the topic, which is discussing issues or potential issues with OS 6.0.0.337:

Since that post, I have had three or four soft reboots, the latest being yesterday with the new version of UberTwitter, and (knock wood) no movement of icons! That issue seems to have self corrected inself, at least for now.
Still occasionally need to tap the screen on occasion to get a response.

After installing this update I cannot see the apps loaded on the phone via the desktop software. Any thoughts on this? I need to install some input languages.

Well I back-ed up the device and reinstalled the OS. I noticed that If I have only 2 languages installed on the device it will only allow me to select english as the device/input language. Once I have more than 3 installed, it will let me select other languages for input (like romanian, where I am from).

I've been reading through these posts and I'm not getting clear feedback or thoughts on how well the OS performs.

Can anyone please provide a case for whether this is a worthwhile effort and gives their reasons for such?
