That normally indicates a vendor.xml file somewhere. Search your entire PC for vendor.xml and delete all instances and try again.

Did this and Application Loader Wizard came up. I think this might have worked. If so thank you for the help, if not I'll be back in a few minutes. lol

I updated to .122 finally. Now I can't find any of my old applications and I did a backup. I went to restore and it didn't bring any of my old applications back. What do I do?

Normally applications copy over. They are not in the backup file you manually created.

Try your downloads folder.

Have experianced the same problem, but with all the advantages to the upgrade, I can do with-out this feature till next release. Running Storm on Verizon .122 OS.

NEVER MIND - It does work, one of the responders showed me that I had changed the hover time to 1000 and need to reset it back to 500, where it works just fine. - Sorry for the bad comment.

Two things I have found with this OS .122:

You have to click the lock button twice to get it to lock. ( the button that is one the outside of the storm- top upper left side)

you do not need to use talklock anymore because your face doesnt activate keys on the phone when your talking on it anymore.

I am totally happy with this OS! I havnt had to do any battery pulls! I have been running it since its release date and it is awesome!

It should have been released this way. Had it been, the storm would still be flying off the shelves!

Ok, so everything is working great so far with my phone since the update. The only problem is I don't have Blackberry Messenger and Blackberry Maps. How do I go about getting these? I've tried downloading them OTA like other apps but it is only for 4.0 and 4.1. Can't find them in App Loader either. Any ideas?

Default Diff between 113 and 122

I recently upgraded from .75 t0 .113 Massive difference. Two points, I need your views:
1: Should I upgrade to 122, any major difference you can highlight?

2: After upgrade, in portrate mode, virtual keyboard get stuck at times. Its only in portrait mode, when I move the phone to landscape mode, it disppears, but comes back if I move to portrait again. If I press mail or any other application, the keyboard is still in background. Only way to get out of the way is to battery remove/insert. Any ideas anyone has faced the same?

Thanks

No, .122 is .122 regardless of which carrier releases it. All OS's come from RIM. If there were any differences, it would have a different build number.

Hello I am a new blackberry user and a storm user at that. A few questions.

How to I tell what firmware is on my Storm?

Where are the feature/bug fix release notes for these new OS versions?

I notice with my Storm that pressing letters on the keyboard there is a delay and is slower typing than on a normal 10 button phone, does this latest OS fix issues with the keyboard?

Thanks ~ Phil

Default 122 vs 132

Can anyone tell me what is the diff between 122 and 132.
I have 122 which is almost fine, except few hiccups here or there. Any comment (give/take) if I upgrade to 132?

Thanks

Default Update

I've had this OS for over a week now (second Storm).

I'm pretty happy with it, no big issues up to now. Something that is starting to bother me just today is that my phone has a slight delay when typing fast, especially in emails and texts. This wasn't an issue with the original OS or the first few days of this OS install but it's happening now. It's probably not a big issue or something that updating the settings wont cure but this is the only hiccup I've had. Very happy customer here.
