I had the same problem too, but have gotten use to it and now live with it.
What's killin me is that the keys seem to fit really low on the housing(like they don't rise high enough)
Did anyone else have this problem?

I had that problem with the keys when I swapped housings, and I found that I didn't tighten down the mid-case enough. I was worried about stripping the screws I guess. When I tightened the mid-case it solved the problem.

I'm also interested in converting my 8700c to 8707v housing. It looks easy enough but I can't find any vendor that will sell me the complete housing kit. I have seen a few for sale without the battery door, or if the have the complete kit with the battery door it's missing the wire mesh cover for the speaker. Anyone able to help a crackberry addict out?
