Public service announcement: Yahoo! has released (enabled?) the Go app for the 8320. Erase the one you have installed then go to mobile.yahoo.com and install the official release,

I installed it last night over Wifi and it's working like a champ.

I have it on my Curve now, and it works with my Freedom Mini puck really well! How can I set my 8320 so that when I am using it with the map and GPS the screen stays on instead of blacking out every minute or two?

This is a global setting: Options -> Screen/Keyboard -> Backlight Timeout (default 30s) and you'll see the other options in there. On mine you can set it to 2min max, I don't see a way to completely leave it on - but that would kill your battery life...

I have the Curve 8320, installed the latest version of Yahoo Go, but I'm getting a message saying that there was an error occurring at startup. I see that it works for you now? Please, can you advice?

*Edit* Worked on the 10th try.. this phone often loses its internet connection.. the 1XEV thing dissapears and I can't do anything.. I have to goto my mobile internet connections, switch to GSM then switch it back to 1XEV to get it to come back on.. lameness.

I can not get my phone (sprint 8830) to download yahoo go. It starts and every time i get a cod error.. and my phones internet connection goes off. Somtimes it makes it to 80% sometimes 40%...

I would like it to stay on only when I am in this application. I was hoping there would be a way to do it through the app, not the phone itself.

Yahoo go is pretty sweet. I love the design. I just wish it had yahoo messenger in it, and that other programs were made like it (msn).
