Can someone point me to a screenie of the vodaphone today theme?
Is it designed for the 8100? or for an older model?

Thanks,
Dan

edit: seems it is not a native 8100 theme

edit: is this it?

Yes, that is it...it is not native to the 8100, it was designed for 7100 and 8700 series handsets, I believe. Somebody keep me honest if I am wrong about this.

Actually when you edit the alx file it has a listing for the 8100. I edited it and it works perfectly fine on my Pearl as far as I can tell although I did not keep it as my theme for long.

Has anyone else noticed this or is it just my phone, after I unlocked the themes some themes have Messages, SMS and MMS, and the email icons. Now if I get a text it doesnt show up in the Messages anymore it only shows up in th SMS and MMS. The only thing that shows up in Messages are my emails...Kind of a nice way to seperate them now instead of it all going into one folder. So I just have the SMS and MMS and the email showing and I have them seperated!

Won't take long for someone here to scream how to put them back in one. This is why they are called themes and everyone gets their own choices.

I actually wish I could make two themes into one...all I want is the icons that seperate them into the T-Mobile Zen one that came with the phone and that would be perfect...guess I have to wait...

I mean the Blue T-Mobile Zen instead of the Pink one...the Pink one does it but it seems alot slower than the blue on for some reason

Is it possible that different themes use more or less battery power than others? I could swear I'm getting a faster drain on my battery since I began using different themes. I'm down to 50% battery charge by 6:00 PM every day with light to moderate usage, but I swear I used to have 75% or more at that same time of the day. I'm switching back to the default T-Mobile theme to see if this makes a difference. Anything I notice will be largely subjective but perhaps I'll keep some records if I do notice any change in battery state now.

I actually liked the Vodafone theme on my pearl...really cool, a little bit slow though...The Cingular one looks kind of special too, it put all the applications icons on a sub-page

also by unlocking the themes by editing the blackberry.alx file, i got some more wallpaper pic's in the preloaded images, eg. a lime color Zen wallpaper

i also like to use the BBCasual, BBClarity and BBCondensed fonts

i'm pretty sure it asked you for net_rim_blackberry.xml

please go back into your blackberry.alx file and search for the lines that have these: (they tend to come in pairs)

- series="~8100"
- series="8100"

in them and add your vendor accordingly. (tmo is 100)

there's a lot of them. the error is due to the fact that you missed one of the lines and your vendor code is on one, but not the other.
