Default No problems here

Upgraded from 4.02 3 hours ago, getting 1XEV all the time - no DCRs. Am able to tether with no problem.

Looks like all is fixed.

if anyone is having issues with 'server not found' errors, add the following to your hosts file:

64.21.49.55 download.vzwshop.com

Where are you located? How is the signal strength? Is it steady or does it change a bit?

My upgrade to 4.1 went very smoothly. Everything was restored except for some settings in Pocket Day. I have seen 1XEV appear a couple of times but it stays on 1X most of the time.

Got the upgrade in, everything's working. Tethering's still broken, so I see no difference between the Verizon 4.1 and the other 4.1 I was using before. Still getting the "Access denied because the username and/or password was invalid on the domain.". Guess it's time to call data support, now that 4.1's sanctioned they'll have to fix it.

That tethering error is usually associated with your account not being provisioned for data tethering (add'l $15/mo).

That's probably it, then. I assumed I could tether without that, since I used to be able to tether on 1X without paying extra even though I was supposed to be. Which also means I probably could have fixed this by calling them months ago I'll have to get the tethering option added on.

And I just checked the other bug I've had with all of the 4.1 firmwares and now still have with the official release. When in the browser, if I enter select mode and select 'Full Image' (to view an online comic at a readable size, for example), I get a blank white screen regardless of the zoom options. This also happens if I attempt to open any saved GIF image stored on my device. Is anyone else experiencing this, or am I the only one?

No DIAL BY NAME and TETHERING broke. Same crap, different carrier. This is a downgrade in my book.

Must be something with your BB. Works fine for me.
