4.1.0.284 (Platform 2.0.0.120)

Not sure what you mean by IT policy, but the device is not used in a corporate environment I got it for personal use with Tmobile BIS service.

All I can think of is wipe the handheld clean and reinstall the OS.

I think I'll pass on that, a theme is not worth it.
Thanks though.

I got the Zen theme using the Tmo OS. You dont get the other themes but you get the Zen with the "home screen" in the options "wrench" menu.

Thats the one I installed. Tmobile OS 284 (?) replacing the BlackBery.alx file in the process and then updating it on the devie using the desktop application.

Seems odd unless Tmo changed it. Hopefully it works out. Took me a few times installing and uninstaling to get it working right.

You see I am faced with this problem:

I have the home screen option, I can go and edit the order of the programs, however, the order NEVER changes on my home screen. I've made threads about this, asked plenty of questions, received plenty of answers and nothing works. Regardless of the order I move programs up and down, the same 5-6 things are always listed on the home screen, even though none of them are even close to being in my top five icons listed in the edit menu. So frustrating.

Move all the hidden icons to the bottom of the list. Leave what you want at the top.

There are a few that you can't hide. Keyboard lock being one of them. I have had the same problem as you before. But when I moved the hidden icons to the bottom it fixed it. Who wants Enterprise Activation at the top of Zen?

move 'em down and pull the battery for a sec., see if that does it.

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8700/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

I just wondering if all this problem are cause by a corruptted BLACKBERRY.ALX file or maybe during the system update process, the user reboot the handheld without letting the machine to reboot by itself.
