If that doesn't suit you, you can always go buy an iPHONE and deal with Apple's buggy IOS on ilounge.com. Nothing will change --
I'll respectfully disagree right back. Not being "more buggy" is no excuse to put out a product with defects. People that accept this as the norm are suffering from lowered expectations.

I own several blackberrys and several iPhones, and rest assured the Apple software experience is so far ahead of RIM that they cannot even be compared. They have different specs, but Apple delivers what they say with high quality.

Right. And the iPhone 4 had no phone problems. "You must be holding it wrong". All new devices have issues. I don't seem to be having the same issues with my 9900, which is clearly a case of "to each his own".

Is that why Caller ID over Bluetooth has been broken since OS 4.3.1? Is that why the Apple Support Discussions are filled to the brim with complaints of issues, broken/missing features, etc.? You're fooling yourself if you think the iPhone is without its share of problems.

I had an iPhone 3GS and an iPhone 4.... The "Apple software experience" you speak of is so far ahead according to who?

Wait! It did get the ability to customize wallpaper recently huh? OK, you win! That is a MAJOR upgrade to an otherwise locked and crippled OS...

As far as Apple "delivering on what they say with high quality" comment, I'd assume you have never owned an iPhone even though you say you have....

Or do you mean high quality as in dropped calls, reboots, freezes, lockups, ect... If that is what you mean by high quality, then I agree...
