No that isnt a real screen protector. its used just for shipping purposes. When you take it off, I noticed that I can type a bit better.

Have you guys heard of the new privacy screen protector? I bought it off ebay, 2 of them for like $10. When you tilt your bb to either side you cannot see what is on the screen. Its kind of nice because when you're on the subway the last thing is for somebody to peak over at your phone. You can get a regular screen protector for $5 for 3. Thats how much I paid on ebay, shipping included.

Take that factory protector off and buy the Sedio screen guard for couple bucks, it works amazing and goes on within seconds with zero bubbles

Turbosteve - Did you have any problems tearing off the original screen protector? For some reason a tech told me that I couldn't remove this original film. Mine is all scratched up. I finally bought the 'invisible shield' screen protector at Best Buy. I really want to remove the factory film before applying the shield, but I'm afraid of messing up the screen. Is there any residue when the factory film comes off?
