106 may never come out from Verizon. It may leak but only time will tell.

I most definately agree! Best to date, although I did experience one thing on my phone. The dreaded edge to EDGE. It would drop to edge once I try to go to WAP sites. Then it takes a while for it to recover back to EDGE. But it might just be me. I did a little experimentation and tried putting the radio .90 in the build. Im happy to say that it worked! Consistently on EDGE. Now, It's so far, perfect. Very responsive in every way possible especially texting. Orientation adjustment quicker. Camera works every time now. Carmera would work on .103 sometimes. No lag on Video and Audio playback. Multitasking working so far. No freezing. These are just my findings on my phone on tmobile.

I know it is probably a matter of semantics, but these OS are not "leaked" - as in someone inside RIMM is sneaking them out. Anytime you have to agree to a EULA before loading the software the manufacturer has released it for someone's use or they wouldn't be protected by a EULA, even if it is just a beta version of the software that is released on a limited basis for testing to a specific group.

They are normally leaked from personnel with various carriers who have access to the beta OSs.

Now that I would buy - that makes sense. Love .103 and waiting till .106 is posted somewhere. No problems with .103 at all and it is more responsive and quicker.

Default .106 hybrid

I saw this was mentioned in the thread, since I dont get over here much I thought I would share with you. These are my original instructions on the .106 hybrid. If you are up to it give it a try. I have been running it since Saturday the 14th and not one problem and considerably faster than .103. It should hold you over until the next release..

This is for XP
Simple process..
1.) Download and install 4.7.0.103 for the 9530 and 4.7.0.106 for the 9500.
2.)Then open C:> program files> common files> research in motion> shared> loader files.
3.)Open 4.7.0.103 and create another folder called Java 2, go to the Java folder copy all the .cod files and place them into the Java 2 folder (this is for back up purposes).
4.) Now go into the 4.7.0.106 folder> java folder> select all and copy, now go back into the 4.7.0.103 folder> java folder> and paste. Yes to overwrite. Some of the .103 folders will remain.
5.)Now go into the apploader file, delete the Vendor.XML file and use Loader.exe to load.

Make sure you back up your device for restoring after install

And youre done.

If you know some people you can have .111 for each device. :p
Or the newer ones...
I followed that instruction and did a 9530-99 and 9500-106 combo and the reason for not doing the 103 is due to the battery drain.
It's been over 3 days now and semms to be the best for me so far.

did this two days ago. So far I'm very pleased with this build. Nice and stable and pretty quick too. None of my 3rd party apps are acting buggy either. I'm almost starting to get optimistic about it lasting, maybe.

Am I the only one that has the application switcher come up every time I press the BB button as opposed to the actual menu? It works maybe once out of 10 times. . . rolling back to .75.

I had a problem with emailing pictures stored on my memory card. But the real reason I went back to .75 was I didn't see what the big deal was. .103 didn't seem anymore stable, it may have been a bit faster but I had constant clock spinning. I actually tried it twice, the second time I rolled back after only a couple of hours.

I just want to wait for an official release.

I'm also not too sure what I think about the full keyboard in portrait mode. . . seems too cramped for me, but maybe it's something you'll get used to. It seems the iPhone did that keyboard perfectly.

Yes it does really work, I built this on the 14th of this month and have been running it ever since. If fact is ran so well that I shared this process with everyone over at Crackberry. Thought you all would like to have it too.

I have not had any issues so far, in fact not even one battery pull.

Default Rebooting issues when play music with headphones?

Has anyone experienced this or tried this? It works for a little bit and then reboots. Same thing when I play the game Nintaii. I am running OS 4.7.0.106 hybrid with .90 radio on tmobile. Everything else seems fine.
