I have just got my 8100 back from being repaired [trackball sticking!] but now when I try to sync with outlook it does copy my contacts across but not my calendar. The repairer said he " reflashed" the phone. Would that be anything to do with it not copying the calender across? any thoughts as to how i can fix it? Thanks in advance.

Open the Desk Top Manager and go to sync, then configure sync and see if the calendar is checked.

Yep, tried that! it all looks good. When it does the sync-ing it shows that it doing stuff to do with calender yet when I go to look on the phone - nothing!

Ok try this, open DM, go to back up and restore, then advanced, delete the caldendar entries under device, pull the battery while the bb is powered on replace, then re-sync. See if that works.


I thinks thats everything, I'm at work and not near a dm program.

Man the only other thing I could think of is to wipe the device.

Jeez, sometimes I think I am too thick for words. The problem was that somehow [and God alone knows how] all my calender entries in Outlook had been deleted, so of course when I sync it to my phone. It synced all my nothings!! Put everything back in Outlook sync across the the phone and Bob's your uncle.
