About to upgrade my handheld OS with VMware. Have people had luck doing this?? I set the guest to automatically take USB devices when it has focus and disabled MissingSync from automatically opening when a device is plugged in..... Pretty sure that should do it, but I remember attempting this years ago and ran into an issue during the restore phase where the Mac host would not release the BB to the Windows guest.

Has worked great for me. Could never get it to work in Parallels, but VMware has been great.

same with me -- works fine in VMWare. never would connect in parallels.

I think the older builds of Parallels were problematic. I'm using the most current release and while I have no need for and OS update though the present release I'm using should be fine.
