It's black. The lady told me it was black. Not gold, silver or blue or any interchangable other option. Black.

Black, black, black.
Where are you getting this information from. I am sitting here looking at the specs and everything in our system, and the phone is grey. Kind of a weird brownish grey. I would be the first to want a black Curve, but I haven't even seen ANYTHING remotely black. and I am on of tmo's "people".

Somebody I know has the Gold TMo 8320. They said, "it's gold and it's nice." I suspect that photos don't do it justice, just as photos don't do the white Pearl justice.

As long as it's not gold as the only color, I could care less if it's black, grey or whatever other colors have been mentioned in this thread.

I just called my Tmo rep, and they said it's going to be "dark grey", they've never even heard about a gold color. Maybe your rep that saw it in their computer has the monitor contrast a little off and saw it black. Who knows? If you call 10 different stores, you'll get 10 different colors. Until the release date, we will keep on guessing. I just really hope it's not gold, and it would be awesome if it was black, but until the 24th, it's all speculation.

The release date is Sept. 24th. It will be pale gold not the flashy blinding gold. And there will be another color of silver. Remember T-Mo is releasing 3 new Pearl colors on Sept 10th so I am sure everyone will get there favorite colors. I just know there wont be a $200 dollar price drop after two months of release

On Blackberry's website they show the Curve on Black(Darkish Graphite) and Silver.

BlackBerry® Curve™ | The New Smartphone That's Brilliant and Beautiful

Just click the color selection to the left of the phone.

Those were the exact words my Tmo rep used: "dark graphite". That looks black to me! I'll take 2, please. Were the color options on the Blackberry site before, or is this new? I don't remember seeing the silver/black buttons before...maybe I just missed them.

Looking at the official Blackberry site, the 8300 is silver, the 8310 is titanium, which is a darker "graphite-like" color. The intro to the site makes it look black.

That is most likely the 8310 I would imagine, which will be available later this month.

its called sarcasm buddy. Did you think it was serious about my hi tech color changing technology?

Besides, what do reps know. Make a poll. I went and asked a rep a few days ago, she told me its going to be silver. I beat you many others will say different.

I'm not going to assume, just hope and wait till the 24th. Heck, everyone is saying either silver, black, gold, blue, red hell prob even pink.

My T-Mo rep (been working for years at a corp store) told me yesterday that the RIM rep was in his store, and handed him a "nice gray" 8320 to try out, and indicated that this will be ONE of the two colors - the other being "gold like the new pearl". He said that all that he's been told suggest that both colors will be available. Also indicated that, although 9/24 is still the official release date, the notice has been removed from the T-Mo internal site...(?)

I called tmo cust. care twice. the first rep i talked to had no idea of what the curve was, only about the new pearl colors. the second rep told me they had just received training no the new curve and that he would be one of the first to buy one on the release date. i asked him what color it would be and he said all things point to it being silver. he said he didnt know when exactly it would be released, but we all know the 24th is the date
