I have only seen the prototype 7100 and use the 7230....I love the e-mail but the phone is a bit weak without a headset.

Is the 7100 better with the phone?

Is it better or worse with the e-mail?

The phone on the 7100 is tons better than the 7230 or any Blackberry I have used to date. It is the best phone rim has put out. The email side works well but if you are big Blackberry user, it takse some getting used to. I use shortcut keys and they have all changed. Also getting used to typing on it is tricky but I'm working through it. Battery life is killing me on it right now. I'm getting about 24hours and that is it.

Ouch. 24hours on a full charge? I love being able to go 3-4 days on my 7280... helps for weekends out
