I am a dealer for cingular and i own the red pearl. Me and several of my customers are having the same problems where we are not getting all of our sms messages and randomly the call log will dissapear. i am currently talking with my blackberry rep to try to find a solution but i was wondering if many other people were experiencing the same problems or possibly already know the answer.

Common issue with some 8100s. Check this link, look at the 8100 section and read the link about missing call logs...
