Default Can no longer synch with outlook

I have a client with Windos 7 64 bit, Outlook 2010 32 bit and the latest desktop manger from RIM 6.9 something. It was working fine and then it stopped synching. In the desktop manger, outlook is longer an option to synch with. Any ideas?

What did the user do just before it stopped syncing correctly?

First, do a battery pull on the BB and make sure they are plugging into a USB directly on the PC/Laptop, not via a HUB.

If that doesn't work, delete DM and do a clean install of the latest version - 6.1.0. See if that fixes it.

Thanks....Tried all that first. DM sees the BB, but still no option to synch outlook in calendar, contacts, tasks etc. Where outlook is mormally, it's just not there. I even tried a version of DM 5 and got the same results.

Some ideas, things to check/do:

Is Outlook still the default email client on the computer? If not, set Outlook as the default and then try again.

Was any other sync software installed prior to the problem occurring? If so, remove it and try again.

Have you tried running Outlook repair? If not, run it and then try again.

Other than that, a clean uninstall of DM and then reinstall as Dubdub suggests would be my next step.
