Under development for some time now, Hedone Design’s first 3D theme, “Liteon” combines the feeling of looking into something rather than at it, and the ability to use that depth to your advantages. The home screen has two different “home panels” that display at varying depths-of-field, as though you are moving towards the background image. Using your scroll-pad or trackball, you can move one panel up from it’s control center stowaway and then using it again, hide that panel while revealing the other. Making full use of the coruscating range of the “Color Monkey” palette (first seen in “Thalia”), the icons are bright, clear and easy to move through – so that you are using the theme rather than having to interpret it.
