I have a blackberry 8830 world edition that is locked to Telus. I want to unlock it and activate it with Bell. Can someone confirm that it will work?

Is Bell GSM or CDMA?

If Bell is GSM, then it won't work because the 8830 doesn't have the North American GSM frequencies.

If Bell is CDMA, then you will have to talk to Bell. Some CDMA carriers will not allow devices from other carriers on their network.
