I searched through about 20 pages on the forums and I could find a previous posting.

I have a user with an 8820 BB, from what she understands is a known flaw with the phone; the user cannot turn on the device by holding the power on/end call button but has to pull the battery out and reseat it to turn it on. Was this ever fixed with a patch or OS, or is this still a problem?

The 8820 does not turn on or off with the end call button. It is the power button on the top that you use to turn the device on and off.

Thanks sytner, Ive never seen the model and she is remote user so I guess a tad more research should have been done on my part
