Wirefly indeed has the 9700 for free with 2yr agreement. If you are eligible for an upgrade, it is $29 with no rebates. Now that is awesome. I have to wait until customer service opens b/c my upgrade is on a family plan.

Wondering if I can still submit a MIR? Anyone have a link to the MIR? Worth a shot, right?

Actual cost wound up $108 "Out of Pocket". In NYC, I stopped this morning to pick up the phone. The $49 after $100 rebate price and with the Black Friday $50 off deal, I had a choice: Take the $100 rebate in 6-8 wks OR Buy a bundle of accessories totaling $100 and get 1 FREE accessory priced to around $40. I took the accessories- new car charger since the curve charger doesn't fit, BT headset, hardcase thing. I then took some Skullcandy headphones as the freebie. they sound great, even though they weren't the wooden ear piece model. So I got the phone and $140 worth of stuff for $108.
