Unhappy Berry Weather and support...

Please Login to Remove!

Is anyone else tired of the lack of support from Bell share and Berry Weather?

Keep getting directed to their forums with no real response from them.

Berry Weather hasn't been working on my Bold (current BWeather version) for some time now.

The forums are not helpful at all.

I haven't had any issues lately. There was a downtime a couple weeks ago where it was not updating the current forecast but was updating the longrange.

You might uninstall the app and reinstall.

Bellshare isn't going to do troubleshooting over their email support, that's what the forums are for.

Did you start a new thread posting the issues you are having???

Have you tried removing the location/s at fault and re-adding them? That would be the 1st thing to do. Make sure all permissions are set to allow.
If those things don't work delete Berryweather, do a physical battery pull, and then re-install from here.

On a side note, Berryweather is about to go back into beta with a new data source and new features, including Berryweather 2.0 coming soon.

I've been shouting that from the roof tops... until they banned me over there... They obviously can't handle the criticism...

Many many times... but they were either ignored or I was told to be patient or I was told that it wasn't THEIR problem (the weather service that they use, yadda, yadda, yadda).

On a final, somewhat germane note, I love BellShare's other programs. I have most of them. I want to like BerryWeather, but their lack of support for issues related to it being non-functional is maddening. When BW works, it's great - beautiful and functional. Unfortunately, it is much prettier that it is functional at this point.

totally agree!
I own all their apps - however the weather app is lacking in real support and stability.
