HI all,

I used to tether a lot between my OSX and Bold which worked like a charm.
Recently, I have some problem with my old firmware and decided to update it to .247 which I find it more stable in general.

However, after the update, the tethering ability is gone. After some research, people are saying tethering is impossible for .190 or above firmware.

Please clarify and advise if there is any way to tether again with .247 firmware.

If there is no way to tether with anything above .190 firmware, does it mean I have to downgrade my firmware?

YES IT IS POSSIBLE.

If you are running into the PPP negotiation problem and you are running intel mac install the PPPD patch, and you are good to go.
