I recently updated my 8700G from 4.2 to 4.5.0.124 and have noticed significantly reduced battery life. Has anyone else seen this and is there a solution other than the standard battery life FAQ's?

Can you describe "significantly"? What was your battery life before the OS upgrade comapred to now?

It may be that the OS just brings more onboard, or it may not be related to the OS upgrade at all.

Is the the original battery that you got with your 8700?

By significantly I mean 50%-70% less time. I used to be able to go more than 24 hours without draining it even with a bluetooth headset constantly connected and multiple apps left running (careless I know... but it worked...) Now it drains in under 10 hours even without the bluetooth.
I have a relatively new battery (2-3 months) and even tried a different battery.
