Angry Google apps email...I can send but nothing is received

Please Login to Remove!

What the heck is going on? Sprint tech support said my incoming server is properly set up as imap.gmail.com. I can send emails from my google apps domains (I have 2) but I am not receiving email for any of them.

I have had no send/receive issues with these same domains on previous BB's I have owned.

AOL, OWA, and blackberry.net emails are sent to my device fine...so it is just the Google ones that are not received.

What do you mean? Switch to the old version of Gmail?

Did you log into GMail on your pc, go to Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP and enable IMAP? Once you do that you should get your mail. I think.

You might need to delete the email accounts on your BIS page at Sprint and then re-add the gmail accounts. I've had the best luck setting up email accounts by going through a pc rather than using the Blackberry itself.

Yeah I tried that about 10 times already, and Sprint tried it 2 or 3 times. lol

I am not sure what's going on but this is annoying and it might just mean I will have to return the BB. The most frustrating thing is that this has worked flawlessly in the past, so I am not sure why it wont work now.

SOLVED!

As soon as I disabled the Gmail labs "Advanced IMAP Controls" feature, emails were delivered to my device. Yay!
