Default new phone same crap

Please Login to Remove!

Let me first say that I love my storm. Hell, if I could get my storm to do the things to me that my wife does I would leave my wife and make hot love to my phone; but that's another story for another forum.

I had to order a new phone due to the screen press issues. I got my "new" phone but is has the same issue just on another side of the screen. My wife has the storm and hers is SO nice to the touch and I am talking about the screen on her storm. Any others with this issue on a replacement phone?

Did the trick with the screws (thanks MHarvey124) and that did it. Now I must go and make hot love to my phone.......... sorry my wife

Done all the usual and removed the two layers of film on the screen?
Set the responsiveness as mentioned elsewhere on this forum?
Just a few ideas that may help.

Sure did, I have to damn near put my finger thru the bottom left side of the screen to get it to click. I'm not going to give up on the storm tho...

Guys there is a new trick to fix the screen click issue (originally saw it over on crackberry forums). Open your battery door. There will be two torx screws (one is covered with a red sticker). Unscrew these screws about a full turn and the screen will work much better. Been confirmed by multiple people who have tried it.

Sorry I can't post link. Not enough posts yet.

You remove the red sticker then you void the warranty on the device. Don't know that I would want to do that

Its a sticker. All it does is sit over the screw. Take a pin and carefully remove it. Turn screw. Place sticker back on.
