When you open an HTML formatted email, hit the Menu/BB button and select "Get Images" from the menu. This should download all images associated with that email.

is there any way to get the images to download automatically? it's annoying if you have to do that for every e-mail.

Go into the messages folder or any e-mail folder if you have more than one account associated with your BB. Bring up the menu and select "options". In the next screen that comes up go into "email settings". On that screen towards the bottom is a setting for enabling HTML email and another setting for enabling the automatic download of images.

Note...If you have more than one account you will have to make the change for each account. Go back to the top of the "email settings" menu and select your accounts that are associated with "message services.

Once you do it for an email, every time you get a new email from that address it will download the images without having to go into the menu.

ah, so it has to be a repeat sender. still doesn't really make much sense if i want to see the images for everything, but guess it can't be changed.

It can't be changed, its a security feature rim has set up. I haven't found it to be too bad since I really only get a few emails with images and if I have already activated the images on the first one then they show up each time. Plus it does eat some of your memory so if you get junk emails with a lot of emails you can at least choose to have those not to download.

Lightbulb HTML E-Mail 3rd Party Apps?

Has anyone tried any of the 3rd party HTML e-mail apps like Empower? I have used it on my 8703e (which does not support HTML) and it works great there. If nothing else. I will try it tomorrow when I finally get my Storm. Stay tuned. 73

You need to get images everytime you get a new email. It doesn't matter how many you get from the same person or business, etc.
