Default Core update available via Desktop Manager......everytime??

Please Login to Remove!

Everytime I load DM, it says theres a 4.7 Core Update and system updates. I have tried doing these updates, but the next time I plug the phone it, it prompts me with the same message and same available updates.

Does anyone know whats going on here?

Did you download the Docs to Go update to enable Sheets to Go?

There is something else you need to do in order to stop this prompt if this is the case.

Where and how do you do that specifically? I wiped the fone with JL_CMDR and reloaded with the OS postes in the sticky, I checked to include docs2go......Sheets to go is already in my applications folder.

Any other ideas what could be causing this? Im afraid to do the update again for fear of screwing something up (the device is working AMAZINGLY right now)

Sheets to Go isn't included in the OS so when DM sees the version on your phone it wants to change it.

From C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\(your OS here)

Rename DocumentsToGo.alx to DocumentsToGo.bkp and this will tell DM to "forget" about that module.

This "may" have changed since 4.5 was first introduced. It might actually be included with the more recent releases... anyone??

If that's the case I may be way off base here. That's how it acted in the early 4.5 days.

The sheets to go was a free update but you had to download it and install it. Once that was on there, DM started prompting to update again.

Sorry, I may be giving you outdated advice. I would see what others have to say then...
