Album Art in Media Player
Please Login to Remove!
I have about 380 songs on my media card. When I select any of them to be played, the media player opens and displays the album art for each track. My problem is that the album art is the same for each and every song selected . Is there a way to refresh or change it to where the correct album art is displayed for the track selected ?

I hope you find a fix for it. It would be annoying.

Have you tried to back-up your songs, format the card and put your songs back on your device?

Yes. Back up all your media card (i assumed incorrectly you only had songs).
Is this problem recent? I assume your ID tags have each the right album art!

When I drag the songs over from my Music folder to my Blackberry folder, the songs are just mp3 files, don't see any art only music files.

If you check your files with an ID tag editor you can link the track to a picture.
In Windows Media Player, select a song, right click and select Advanced Tag Editor
If opens a window where you can fill in tack info, artist Info, Lyrics, and "Pictures".
Click on the Pictures tab, click on add and browse to the album art, click apply.
The album art will be linked to the track when you drag and drop it on your SD card.

OK. I found Advanced Tag Editor and the window pops up. Do I have to download Images manually from the web for each and every song?

Open Windows Media Player (11)
on your computer, select an mp3 track that you intend to copy on your SD card, right click on it. There should be a menu opening listing "Play all, play.... and Advanced Tag Editor"

The way I do it is that I download the album art on my PC. I select all the tracks from the album, rick click, select Advanced Tag Editor and link the tracks to the downloaded album art.

I currently have 385 tracks on my BB. So I pretty much have to download the album art for each track/artist and then use the Advanced tag editor, correct ?

If these songs are from CDs that you own, and you are willing to invest in a good ripper, you can avoid all that. The ripper I use also rips the album art to your PC. It also burns, converts and does a lot.
