I am having a problem setting the value of a <textarea> when viewing a webpage in the BB browser (simulator 8830). I have javscript enabled on the browser.

e.g.

I am carrying out the following

function test()
{
window.document.forms['MainForm'].elements['TextArea'].value = 'some text';

}


<form name="MainForm">
<textarea rows="6" id="TextArea" name="TextArea" cols="26"> </textarea>

<INPUT TYPE="button" NAME="button" Value="Click" onClick="test()">
Next</a>
</form>

the text is not being added to the textarea?

This works in IE.

Any ideas
