Default connect to Google Spreadsheets

Please Login to Remove!

I am a new Blackberry User (8100) and also am new to this forum, so please excuse me if this should be somewhere else in the forums...I beleive it is a OS/Browser type question...

I get a Java related error when trying to connect to Google Spreadsheets.

Is there a work around/update that enables this to work?

other suggestions? anyone else using already?

Do you have JavaScript enabled on your BlackBerry browser?

Thanks for responding...

I have it enabled now...so error message comes up, but now the browser asks me if I wish to upload the script, I choose yes, it loads, dowloads data but then the view on the BB Screen is blank....

do I need to "show images on HTML pages" maybe?

Not sure. I am getting the same thing as you. I can only recommend that you try tweaking the Broswer configuration. It may not be possible to use Google Spreadsheets on a BlackBerry. This is the first time I have seen anyone ask about it.

Good Luck.

You could try Opera Mobile Browser and see if it will work. I find it works better with some pages like my on-line banking.

I'm having issues as well trying to see spreadsheets I created through a PC desktop when trying to view with my 8100. I get many "scripting" messages and then a blank, white screen.

I've tried most all different Browser configuration / emulation settings and I've tried Opera without success. Any suggestions would be appreciated as this would be a powerful tool. I'm a TMobile subscriber.

Google has stated that it's documents and spreadsheet web-apps will not work on mobile devices, but that they are working on it.

I've found that if you publish the docs and spreadsheets as html files, you can access them with the wap browser, but not with html browsers. I don't know why.
