"Contact Lists" and Gmail problem

Now my "contact lists" name is a gmail address.
I am unable to rename or remove the gmail contact list.
I tried deleting the address book from Desktop manager then importing contacts from SIM card, but the contact list name remain unchanged.
I have searched everywhere for a solution and it seem that many people are facing the same issue.
Is there a solution?
The gmail is an account I do not use. It was sneaky of them to add the feature and now hijack my contact list.
I want my contact list back to default.
