I would like to move the contacts from the Pearl to my 8800, while keeping the contacts that are already on the 8800.

I have backed up both devices with files.

I then tried to use the desktop manager to merge them somehow. But all I could seem to do was erase the existing list and add the new list, or keep the existing list.

Help? :/

I found an IPD merger program on Download.com.

I would try this: You can sync them each into different Outlook profiles then export from one profile to the other? You should end up with one profile that contains all the contacts. Then simply sync that profile with your 8800.
