Default 7130c on T-Mobile

Please Login to Remove!

The situation:

I have recently acquired a 7130c using Cingular software, but unlocked for use on my T-Mobile service. Initially, I was getting both my BES and Internet e-mail, but had no other internet access. (503 server busy error on all links, regardless of which browser was accessed).

I have with the help of T-Mobile and RIM Tech Support, and my BES administrators, done the following:

Tried both wap.voicestream.com and <blank> in the APN field.
Deleleted my Service books and had them re-sent.
Re-synced and re-booted countless times.
Had my BES administrators move me to a different BES server.

The end result (as of today) is that now I not only have no internet access, my e-mails have stopped pushing to the 7130c as well.

The BES folks swear they can see data being sent to the handset from their end. On my end, zero.

Is there something that has been overlooked in this little game of "stump the band" or do I truly have a compatitiblty issue that can't be corrected?

Try wiping the handheld completely and let it restart. I use a Nokia 9300i on t-mobile and I have a 7100t. When I was using the 7100T with a BES from my previous company I could not get emails for the new company even though the Nokia 9300i worked on t-mobile. I then wiped the software on the 7100t and restarted and now everything works.

Has T-Mobile sent down the Service Books? Since they don't intend to sell the 7130, I had read that they also would not have any Service Books...

Are service books specific to the BB or to the service provider?
