Default Which App did I download to get "Download Ebooks" in Menu

Please Login to Remove!

I recently donloaded a bunch of apps from crackberry, and noticed that I now have "Download EBooks" in Menu, though I did not download any apps to read ebooks, and I cannot really guage or find out which app is the cause for this added Menu item.

When I click Download Ebooks in the Menu, it takes me to this site:

http://www.mobilesoftmarket.com/index.php?cPath=22_24

The apps I downloaded and which kept are:

ShowEventLog
Barcode Assistant
Btorch
Quickpull
Superstore
BerryQuery2
The Word Locker
Beam Explorer
MeXev Lite
Analyze Mathematics
Pocket Grapes

Does anyone have the answer as to which app might have been the cause of this addition to my Menu, please?

It's just an electronic book reader but AppWorld shows it has Wattpad. check it out.
delete it if you dont want it. the link may be to additional Ebooks

Its not a reader nor app. All it is is that link...

That is to say, say right now while I'm in browser (on my Torch), if I bring up the menu, there is among all of the other things to select, "Download Ebooks," and when clicking that, it takes one to that webpage, which is nothing more than a site to purchase various apps having nothing or something to do with ebooks. I'd like to see DoWnload EBooks gone from my menu (esp as it is in every menu to every app!), but don't know which among those apps I listed above would need to delete in order to do that

go to options , advanced, applications and delete it. you may find out what it is linked to then. if you cannot determine what to delete your forced to delete one at a time and hope it goes away. one alternative is to simply hide the icon.

I'm on a Torch. It is not something to be found to delete via Options>Device>Applications, nor is it something outside of Menu (key left of trackpad) to access like an icon to therefore hide.

I'll probably do the delete appa til I find which one is the cause, and will let you know, when I do find it...

However, HA!, thought I'd also go ahead and point out here that "Download Ebooks" has now been changed to "Download Software," (going to very same webpage when clicked), and I have not downloaded, deleted, modified, or otherwise changed anything (other than my device automatically rebooting via Quickpull) -- floating spam in my menu, LOL :P

?!?

I should have sent this on the 9800.
Info on removing stuff

Remove unnecessary items on the 9800

Removing features and applications that are underused increases the available flash memory on the BlackBerry smartphone.

Use the Setup Wizard application to remove languages that you do not use from the BlackBerry smartphone. Removing languages is highly recommended because it is one of the most significant ways to increase available flash memory.

To remove languages from the BlackBerry smartphone, complete the following steps.

For BlackBerry Device Software 5.0 and earlier

On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, open Setup Wizard.
Select Languages.
Select the language you want to use on the BlackBerry smartphone and click Next. The BlackBerry smartphone deletes all languages that you do not select.
For BlackBerry Device Software 6.0

On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, tap All and open Setup.
Select Languages.
Tap Manage Languages to expand the option.
Select the language you want to use on the BlackBerry smartphone and click Update. The BlackBerry smartphone deletes all languages that you do not select.
Remove underused applications.

To remove applications from the BlackBerry smartphone, complete the following steps.

For BlackBerry Device Software 5.0 and earlier

On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, open Options.
Select Advanced Options.
Select Applications. The BlackBerry smartphone takes time to build a comprehensive list of the installed applications.
Highlight the application you want to delete, display the menu and select Delete.
For BlackBerry Device Software 6.0

On the Home screen of the BlackBerry smartphone, tap All and open Options.
Select Device, then Application Management.
Tap the application you want to delete. The Application Properties screen appears for that application with a Delete option to remove the application.

FYI in case anyone digs up this thread in the future, it was the Berryquery app that added the unwanted Menu link.
