Does the facebook application only work with the service of bb on? or it can be used with wifi?

I am able to use the wifi and the other applications i have, but facebook is the only thing that isn't working so far?

perhaps i have to change some settings?

Also is skype free for blackberry? or do I have to pay for it? I tried to search for the free one ... I found it on my ipod in the app store and it was free ... but for my bb ... i didn't find a free version :S does anyone have the website for the free version ... ? or is it not free for bb?

It requires a blackberry data plan.

Skype isn't available for blackberry, except those on the US network Verizon.

A blackberry data plan is a plan that allows data for blackberrys.
i.e. Blackberry internet service.

You get this from your carrier.
