Default Storm 2

Hi, I have been told by my provider that the Storm 2 is not being made anymore and that Blackberry themselves are not going to make any of the touch screen phones at all - anybody heard whether this is true ?? thanks

Haven't heard about this.
Had it been the Storm 1, I could understand, as Storm 2 is its replacement.

I sincerely doubt this is correct, especially since RIM's promo video for OS6 shows a touchscreen device.

only reason i asked is that I am due for an upgrade with the contract ending soon anyway, since I've already got the Storm 1, the Storm 2 was the obvious option for me. The provider said that they had only got 19 in stock (yesterday) and that they were 'returns' anyway ... Not good

C3DPG,

Storm 2 is definitely being supported. There is a 6.0 O/S for Storm 2 coming out and there are plenty of peeks at it floating out there in cyber space. Just do a "WES 2010" search.

O/S 6.0 retains the rigid, blocky appearance of its predecessors but it has some cool new pop up menus that give it more flexibility. Check it out.
