Receiving Yahoo! Mail incredibly slow

I'm using a Storm on the T-Mobile network with the latest OS. My APN is epc.tmobile.com.
Here's what's going on...
I'm noticing that my Yahoo! Mail emails aren't being delivered as quickly as my hotmail. They're taking around 20 minutes to arrive and from what I've read, they should be instant.
I'm sent and resent my Service Books and pulled the battery out a couple of times but they're still slow. Can anyone help me remedy this because it's really irritating.
