Default Weird OS Change

Please Login to Remove!

I have been running .266 since i downgraded from 5.0.0.100. Then today I downloaded .282 and the 5.0 desktop software. I installed the desktop software here at work (did not install the OS file), then I copied them over to my blackberry.

After the desktop software installed, i restarted and plugged in my bold. When i opened the program it asked me to install the OS, (which it occasionally does, and then after a few seconds it says its been installed successfully). This time it took a good 20 minutes, and afterwards i checked and it had installed .282 on my bold.

Ive never heard of it being installed by any other way than installing it on your computer then running the desktop software.
