Now, I've been seeing a lot of ads on UK TV of late shouting about all the wonderful. Iphone apps you can get. I was wondering, are there equvilents for the BB Bold out there? For example the App for getting a song name based on what it hears? Just a thought. I have been through the apps section here and have some of the Must Have's, but was looking to expand this.

Yes there is. Check out BB AppWorld.

The app you're referring to is called Shazam and it is available for BlackBerry via AppWorld.

Obviously not much use to Australian BB users as we do not have access to AppWorld yet - and no launch date in sight either!

i am living in australia so i cant use bb app world but after alot of search i finally found shazam ... direct download..

i dont know if it works on other models but i have a bold and works absolutely fine with bold...

if anyone has any other softwares for people like me living in australia who cannot access app world please let me know...
