Hey there...
I just wanted to say hello to everyone on the forum. I've lurked around for a while, used the wealth of information here, and ran! I figured it was time though to participate and maybe even contribute.
Anyhow, about me....
I work in the Alberta Oilsands as an IS Operations Analyst. I've been handed the Mobile Telecom roll, in addition to many other rolls that I cover. Our Blackberry userbase is about 700 Strong, out of 6000 employees, and growing daily. Our company is quite progressive and has adopted the new devices with grace and eagerness, realizing for example its cheaper to have a BB with a camera, then to buy a camera for every person that needs one occasionally.
I quite enjoy the roll of Mobile Telecom because I get to meet a lot of the company, from the VP's to the front line workers. Its interesting to see how each group uses the gear and to help them make the most of it. Which brings me to one of my other rolls, a trainer.
Anyhow, if anyone knows of a good resource for BB training presentations (.ppt etc), please let me know as I am in the process of developing a course and need some ideas...
Thanks to the mods for running such a good resource. Its refreshing to see a forum that is focused on being a forum, and not a littered billboard. (Sponsors are fine, but when the ads take up more screen size than the forum, there's something wrong).
