Default Calendar Notifications

I work for an organization that is very meeting focused. My BB 8700 doesn't usually notify me when I have a meeting. If it does it is usually 1 minute before the meeting is to start. I have the 15 minutes warning on but it still doesn't notify me. Anyone have a solution to this problem?

Double check the event reminder on the actual individual meetings as that overrides what you have for default.

98% of all my calendar items are set up via Outlook (2003). They always have a 15 minute reminder on them. I still don't get notified. It's driving me crazy and my IT guys haven't been able to fix it. GRRRR.

I do have it set to vibrate and on the rare occasion that it does notify me 1 minute prior to the meeting start it vibrates like I would like it to. I have also changed it to a tone and that hasn't made a difference. Thanks for your help. Keep asking questions.

This may be a silly question, but do you have the time set properly on the device and is it using network time?

If your at your desk do you get a reminder in outlook at the 15 minute mark?

I assume you have rebooted your blackberry by taking out the battery for a minute.

My time is set for Blackberry time instead of network time but my blackberry is only 1 minute different than the network time.

If I am at my desk I always get my reminders and have rebooted. It's weird too because my organization is pretty blackberry heavy and nobody else that I've talked to has this problem.

Keep the questions coming. Thanks for your help.

Have you tried to rerun the enterprise activation with the BES?

I am having this same problem, we really my boss is but he is clueless with technology anyways. I am usually pretty good with it but this is really getting to me. The reminder always pops up on the screen on time, but no sound is made. The profile that is set on the phone is loud, and it sounds for phone calls and emails but not tasks or calendar events. My boss doesn't use the blackberry as his main phone devise but only for email and the reminders so he doesn't look at it constantly, only if it rings. This is a problem when the tasks or calendar events pop up but don't make a sound, he doesn't see them until it is too late. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!
