Hi,
I have a client who cannot log into their blackberry administration service on besx 5.0.3 bundle 12.

When i have seen this before its been Java at fault automatically updating. Indeed it had updated to 1.6.0 update 31 and was in the wrong folder for bes. I uninstalled as per the KB article and reinstalled in the right folder and updated the registry and restarted the services. On this occasion however, this has not resolved the problem. I have also tried changing the password by altering the services, the blackberry server configuration under AD services tab and within active directory itself to a password without a non usable character.

This also has not resolved it. I have tried change jvm option 3 in the registry to use 768 instead of 1024 but this has not worked.

I have checked the bes admin account in AD to ensure kerberos pre authentication check box isn't ticked and this is fine.

The error i am currently receiving in the BAS - AS log is

Can anyone shed any light because all the KB's i can find point to the things i have already tried.

The last option i am looking at atm is to uninstall update 31 to roll back to update 18 as is standard with the installation of besx.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately its just how its pasted into the forum unfortunately. The account is definately besadmin and is that in AD and the services log on.

Maybe try to reinstall BAS or call support
