Default Getting rid of +44 in front of my numbers when making outgoing calls

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys
I'm a newb here and I just bought the 8300 curve off of ebay. The seller, however, forgot to mention that the phone was unlocked from UK. SO, when I make outgoing calls from my addy book a +44 is automatically put in front of the number and in turn my outgoing calls dont work. How do I get rid of that? In order to make phone calls now I have to dial the number entirely myself--and when people call even if I have their number in my phone book their names dont show up on caller id. The names will only show up if I physically put a +1 in front of all the numbers but I dont want to go through ALL my entries and put a +1. Is there a way I can fix this? PLEASE PLEASE let me know! I am desperate!
