Thanks in advance for taking time to attempt to help me out.

I have a Blackberry Bold 9650 with Verizon service that I am having trouble with.

Every once in a while (2-3 times a week), when I take my phone out of the holster, it lights up and goes to the password screen.
Unfortunately, at this point, the phone is completely unresponsive.
None of the keys will work so I can't get it unlock.
I have tried pressing all of the keys with no response.
I have also tried re-holstering the phone, but still no response.

Sometimes this happens when I am receiving a call.
I take it out of the holster and it says "Incoming Call from.......", but I can't answer it because none of the keys will work.

At this point, I have to remove the battery and wait 10 minutes while it reboots.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Was the BB exposed to any form of water? Dropped?. If not then the OS sounds like it may be corrupted or possibly an App is interfering. You can try deleting any added apps and restore them one at a time to determine which may be causing this. Another thing you can try is upgrading the OS. If your already using the latest you can try replacing the OS using one of the various methods available. The easiest may be JL_Cmdr. Go to the FAQ section at the top of the forum site for instructions.
